Tasting Notes
Nose:.
Delicate floral tones drift in first – orange blossom and rose petals – followed by warm, spiced richness of fruitcake. Raisins, fig jam and fresh red berries add both brightness and depth
Palate:
A luscious blend of stewed dark fruits and light orchard notes open the palate. Sweet and salty dance in harmony, revealing layers of toffee, marzipan and bittersweet marmalade. Balance and depth, lifted by gentle oak and spice
Finish:

“TELL THEM STORIES. THEY NEED THE TRUTH. YOU MUST TELL THEM TRUE STORIES, & EVERYTHING WILL BE WELL.
JUST TELL THEM STORIES.” Philip Pullman
For a decade now, the storytellers of Badwolf have committed to strengthening the creative sector in Wales – where timeless tales are told for all generations.
In celebration of this bold creative spirit, Penderyn has crafted this special edition whisky. Matured in our Brecon Distillery, it captures the same sense of drama,
depth, and imagination that flows through every frame produced by Bad Wolf. A toast to the tales that shape us all.
Bad Wolf Production was founded ten years ago ( 2015) in Cardiff and has built up an international reputation as one of the foremost independent film and TV production companies.
The Bad Wolf story began when Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner decided, with showrunner Russel T.Davies, to base Doctor Who in Cardiff. That was the spark that has led to Torchwood, Sherlock, Merlin and His Dark Materials, etc being located in the Welsh capital.
In the last 10 years, Badwolf has brought many of the world’s most renowned producers, directors and actors to Wales. This has run in parallel with a firm commitment to the
creative sector in Wales to build and strengthen the growing creative community through wide ranging partnerships and training initiatives.
