Ancre Hill Estates is a family-owned and operated winery located in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire. The 12 hectares of vineyards are perfectly positioned on south-facing slopes close to the border town of Monmouth and the Wye Valley. The estate utilises traditional biodynamic and Organic Viticultural practices and is Demeter certified.
Winemaking notes
100% whole bunch carbonic maceration for between 30- 50 days. Fermentation finished in oak and stainless steel for ageing on gross lees for a minimum of 10 months. Natural MLF, no filtration, no fining, no SO2 additions.
