Y Lleidr / The Thief
Playful, vibrant and full of character, Y Lleidr (The Thief) is our expressive Welsh rosé wine, inspired by the blackbirds who helped themselves to much of our very first vintage. Though they left us with little fruit that year, perseverance and thriving vineyard sites have since brought abundance and success.
This beautifully balanced rosé is crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir, Solaris and Seyval Blanc, grown across our two Welsh vineyard sites. The result is a fresh, fruit forward wine that reflects both our landscape and our resilience.
On the nose and palate, expect notes of freshly picked summer berries including strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, lifted by crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. Dry in style, elegant in structure and effortlessly drinkable.
Cool climate conditions in Wales allow for slow ripening, preserving natural freshness and delicate aromatics. This vintage captures that brightness perfectly, offering a rosé that is vibrant, food friendly and ideal for long summer evenings.
