The Torres Gran Coronas Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2021 14 % vol. is an expressive, elegant red wine from the Penedes in Catalonia that impressively reflects the long tradition and innovative strength of the Miguel Torres family winery. Made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and a small proportion of Tempranillo, this Reserva is the perfect combination of Mediterranean ripeness, structure and finesse.

The vines grow on limestone and clay soils in the higher vineyards of the Penedes, where the temperature differences between day and night ensure a good balance between fruit and freshness. After selective hand-picking, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels to give the wine depth, complexity and subtle spice. The result is a harmonious Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva full of character that combines the elegance of the Torres house with a modern style.

Thanks to the investment that has been made in research and development in both viticulture and winemaking by the 4th and 5th generation members of the family, Familia Torres has gained an enviable reputation for their subtle blending of tradition with innovation.
