Bodegas Langa 'Mitico' Chardonnay (2023)

Juan and César Langa Gonzalez represent the fifth generation of a family who for over 150 years have known how to stay faithful to the tradition handed down from generation to generation. At the same time however, they have brought in the necessary advances in order to adapt to the new methods and demands in and on production.

A place where technology and the most modern materials live alongside the traditional methods of understanding wine making. A firmly established philosophy that wine isn't just a consumer product, but more, something which unites the essence of the natural environment where the vines are nurtured, the culture accumulated over thousands of years of shared history and the passion given by five generations.

Vineyard and Winery

100% hand harvested Biodynamic Chardonnay grapes from 30 year old vines grown on slate and stony soils at an altitude of 800-900m. Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel at a low 16ºC to preserve the primary fruit flavours and aromas. No malolactic conversion, nor oak contact for good fresh acidity and ripe fruity flavours.
