This orange wine from La Mancha, made from biodynamically farmed Verdejo grapes, is a wonderful introduction to orange wine. Fermented with ambient yeasts on the skins for 10 days and aged in large French oak vats for 6 months, it is only partially filtered, resulting in a cloudy amber hue. Lees aging creates a smooth, complex finish. Subtle vanilla and spice, along with delicate peach and orange aromas, are complemented by savoury, peppery notes on the palate.
