Domaine Gayda Flying Solo Grenache Blanc / Viognier (2025)

New

A brilliant, luminous, and seductive pale yellow robe. The nose, very expressive and vibrant, opens with intense Williams pear, accompanied by white flowers and a delicate touch of grapefruit zest that brings freshness and dynamism. On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh, dominated by citrus. Green pear then takes center stage, carried by a generous mid-palate where peach and lemon notes mingle. The finish, tangy and persistent, lingers elegantly with a flinty mineral nuance.

'Flying Solo' is audacity poured into a range of wines. Turning its back on international grape varieties, its wines give pride of place to Grenache, which forms the backbone of the range, blended with Syrah, Viognier, or Cinsault. Fearless, it pays homage to the pioneers of the Aéropostale who, in the 1920s, braved all dangers to ensure the delivery of the mail.
