Domaine Cabanis is in the AOC Costières de Nîmes zone. South of Nîmes, atop the high plateaux, the domaine extends across 32 hectares (70 acres), 14 (30 acres) covered in vines. The soil composition is hilltop clay/silice, with most of the vineyards covered in the rolled stones left from the ancient passage of the Rhône thousands of years ago. This terroir permits the wines to reach full fruit maturity, and often contributes to an expression of toasted notes.
The domaine has been cultivated organically since 1984.
