Aromas of white fruits, with apricots and pineapple coming to the fore and traces of tropical fruit. Very fresh on the palate, revealing fine acidity that highlights some minerality. Good volume on the palate with a sumptuous quality in perfect balance with the vitality provided by the precise acidity.

From the Symingtons' new property in northern Alentejo. 80% Arinto, 20% Verdelho. Unoaked.
The initial aroma is mostly Arinto – citrus, especially grapefruit and just very slightly herbal, green fruits – but on the palate it is more scented and textured from the Verdelho and, as it opens, it is a touch more peachy and riper-tasting, with a slight floral character, spice too. A very good blend where the two varieties are really well matched. Very fresh. This is really good: vibrant and surprisingly complex because it is not just about the character of the grape varieties but also the site, with something almost steely at the very end.
