Superb champagne made with 35% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier. They make it with between 40 and 50 crus which are blended together to create a consistent product. Lanson do not use malolactic fermentation giving the wine an crisp, appley flavour.
It is a golden yellow with a foaming necklace of tiny bubbles. Pleasing to the nose, initially reminiscent of white fruits, then of vanilla, and later of brioche.
