Fossacolle
A tiny estate, situated in the hills of Montalcino, Fossacolle is fast becoming a much-prized name in this celebrated corner of Tuscany. The estate is run by Stefano alongside his father, Andrea, who spent years working for legendary Italian winemaker, Giacomo Taschis, known as the father of Super Tuscans. This is a small scale outfit: they work 4 hectares of vines, with just 2.5 destined for their Brunellos. As a result, just 10,000 bottles are produced in each vintage.
