Wachenheimer Riesling is primarily produced from the Wachenheimer Königswingert. This vineyard between Wachenheim and Bad Dürkheim is a much cooler site than the other Villa Wolf vineyards and benefits from its red sandstone soil weathering and a high proportion of clay which enables Villa Wolf to combine a light structure with a fully ripe aroma. After only after 10 months it is separated from the full lees, which allows them to achieve a very creamy character paired with a finely balanced acidity and aromas of yellow stone fruit.
The result of this careful winemaking process is a light and refreshing wine that is perfect for pairing with seafood, spicy cuisine, or simply sipping on its own.
