Very intense, dark ruby colour with a few signs of the colour turning around the rim. The bouquet is rich and powerful, brimming over with fruit and hints of eucalyptus and bay leaf. On the palate, the after-taste is impressive for its finesse and complexity. The very mellow tannins are devoid of any aggressive tendencies. An exceptional vintage to be kept for a long, long time.

So much praise for this wine having profited from a dry and early spring, then from a dry and warm summer until the end of grape picking, providing a yield of 42 ho/h.
