Bright and poised, the 2015 shows terrific energy. Citrus peel, white flowers, mint, white pepper and slate all race across the palate. There's gorgeous tension and backbone here, with bright saline notes that extend the mid-palate and finish. - Tasted by Antonio Galloni

The 2015 vintage was characterised by a challenging yet ultimately rewarding growing season. A mild winter and warm spring led to early bud break, while a hot, dry summer pushed the vines to their limits, enhancing the concentration of flavours. August brought much-needed rain, allowing the grapes to achieve perfect ripeness. The resulting harvest, beginning in late August, yielded grapes of exceptional quality, with an ideal balance of acidity and sugar. An assemblage of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir harvested in 2015, this bottling required a spell of almost 10 years on the lees in the darkness of the cellars to reach full maturation, allowing the wine to fully reveal itself.
