Le Montrachet is probably the most famous, best and most expensive white wine site in the world. The wines of this 8-hectare Grand Cru seem to almost magically combine all the qualities of a great white wine: fruit and density, balance and freshness, minerality and depth, subtle delicacy and aristocratic character, brilliant texture and immense length.

Guy Amiot is without question one of the leading winemakers in Chassagne. His wines perfectly combine traditional vinification with contemporary style and great elegance. For this purpose, only around 25 percent new wood is used during maturation so that the typicality of the respective terroirs is not masked. Since 1992, Guy Amiot's son Thierry, now the fourth generation, since the winery was founded at the beginning of the twenties, has been involved in the business.
