Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard is based in Chassange-Montrachet, Burgundy. Jean-Noel’s daughter, Caroline l’Estime took over the estate and has really fine tuned it. Their small team focus on the terroir. One of Santenay’s most prestigious Premier Cru, situated east of the village next to Chassagne-Montrachet. Rarely more than 100 cases of this incredible value red Burgundy are produced each year.

Aromatic, clear forest fruits on the nose. The palate is spicy and berryish with a little tannic crunch to it. Floral, juicy sweet damson, plum and cherry fruit on the finish. One of Santenay’s most prestigious Premier Cru, situated east of the village next to Chassagne-Montrachet. Rarely more than 100 cases of this incredible value red Burgundy are produced each year. Ageing is in second-year oak barriques.
