This wine shows immense charm with a tropical fruit and citrus nose. A delicate buttered brioche quality comes in on the palate with a mineral, smoky back note. The acidity gives this wine elegance and a long finish.

Fourth Generation winemaker, Sebastien Magnien produces this white wine from his home region of Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The family winery, once located here, in the village of Meloisey, has now relocated to Meursault where he also produces white wines of exceptional quality.
The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, has no specific AOCs named after villages or premier cru vineyards and is not renowned for exceptional wines (relative to its close neighbours). But Magnien is fortunate to have old vines with favourable aspects and there is certainly value to be found in this elegant white Burgundy.
