Ripe peachy aromas. Again that chalky firmness but very pure citrus freshness. Mouthwatering finish.

The vineyards and the activity of négociant have been in the Darnat family since the 19th Century. Since 1985, Henri Darnat has been at the head of the family vineyards. During the 1990s, along with his wife Marion, Henri started again the business of négociant enabling them to offer a wide range of Burgundy’s greatest wines: Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Pommard, Volnay, Beaune, Monthelie, Auxey-Duresse, Bourgogne Chardonnay, Bourgogne Pinot Noir. Notes from the winerey: "The Darnat "Clos Richemont: is aged in 80% new oak for 12 months followed by six months of refining in stainless steel vats. Grown in soil with high clay and lime content, it's very close to the structure of a Montrachet. The nose is lemony and lightly toasted alongside the perfume of white flowers. The palate has lively minerality and is immensely long on the finish. The wine’s structure makes it suitable to accompany all kinds of dishes; it is often mistaken for a Puligny Montrachet grand cru."
