A spectacular vintage with lots of power that will last another decade or more in bottle. Best with strong flavoured foods. Decanter Gold Medal winner. With 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, pure aromas of blackcurrant lead into a very precise palate. Savoury, herbal and very classic in style but it still has a juicy quality to the fruit. Multi-faceted and powerful with excellent length.

Enjoyed!
While I usually prefer older bordeaux wines, the younger Rousseau de Sipian vintages are showing excellent promise, as well as being very pleasant to drink young.
