Having been under the ownership of the Tesseron family since 1960, in 2021 Lafon-Rochet was acquired by the Lorenzetti family. It now joins another trio of rising star Bordeaux estates in the Vignobles Cruse-Lorenzetti portfolio: Châteaux d'Issan, Pédesclaux, and Lilian Ladouys. Former oenologist for the legendary Château Lafite Rothschild for 22 years, Christophe Congé is now the Managing Director at Château Lafon-Rochet, having joined for the 2022 vintage, and with is team is quickly rehabilitating the vineyards.
