The origin of its name dates back to 1931, and comes from the fact of the 13th century tower which dominated the body of the building, and from the plots of land bearing the name of Pez in the land registry.
The vineyard extends over the gravelly ridges and on the clay-limestone soils of the AOC Saint-Estèphe.
The aging is done in barrels, 40% new.
