The 2009 Peyrabon has a finely detailed bouquet with blackberry, raspberry, pressed flower and mineral aromas. This exudes class. The palate is well balanced with fine grain tannin, one of the more saline Cru Bourgeois with touches of oyster shell and spice towards the poised, edgy finish.

Château Peyrabon, whose terroir adjoins that of Pauillac, enjoys a growing reputation (more than 17 medals collected at various international competitions!). Since the considerable investments made in recent years, the quality of the wines has continued to improve. 2009 was a hugely successful vintage so this is a real safe bet of Haut-Médoc and constitutes an excellent quality/price ratio!
