Denis Durantou's brilliant Lalande de Pomerol estate. Same owner as l'Eglise Clinet. Pretty, spiced, red fruit, almost burgundian! Lovely supple palate, great weight and finesse, quite grippy on the finish.

Denis Durantou, owner of prestigious Château Eglise Clinet, purchased the Les Cruzelles property in Lalande de Pomerol and makes a second wine called La Chenade.
Acclaimed as “man of the soil” this ambitious and passionate winemaker ages the crop in 50 percent new oak to give the wines a silky texture and hint of oak on the palate.
