Château Hosanna is one of the more underrated estates in Pomerol having only existed in name since its purchase in 1999 by the Moueix family. 2016 was a superb vintage in Bordeaux and this is a stunning release composed of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Though rich and opulent, it is wonderfully perfumed and elegant, with excellent cellaring potential.

Medium garnet-purple colored, it comes spilling out of the glass with the most beautiful floral perfume of lilacs and lavender over a core of black and red cherries, black raspberries and cedar chest plus hints of tobacco and chocolate mint. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is elegantly styled with beautiful floral and cherry layers framed by velvety tannins, finishing long and fragrant. Its vineyard is close to, or surrounded by, illustrious neighbours: Vieux Ch. Certan, Certan de May, Lafleur and La Fleur-Pétrus.
