This is very rich on the nose with so much merlot character. Plums and dried fruit. Full body, round and chewy tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Soft and juicy.

Denis Durantou, owner of prestigious Château Eglise Clinet, purchased the Les Cruzelles property in Lalande de Pomerol and makes a second wine called La Chenade.
Acclaimed as “man of the soil” this ambitious and passionate winemaker ages the crop in 50 percent new oak to give the wines a silky texture and hint of oak on the palate.
