Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Shiraz (2020)

New

A classic Clare Valley palate, one that effortlessly combines the elegant freshness of the dark fruits and chocolate notes of the nose with the serious texture and mouthfeel of a wine made the traditional way; open fermentation and basket pressings. It's length and palate persistence is a testament to it's fine natural tannins and acidity

A recent winner of the coveted James Halliday Australian Winery of the Year award, Kilikanoon was founded in 1997 when Founder and Winemaker Kevin Mitchell purchased property in the hamlet of Penwortham in South Australia's picturesque Clare Valley.

Kilikanoon's vineyards have been carefully selected to enable them to produce a range of exceptional and elegant examples of Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet and Grenache which express the individuality & nuances of their respective sub-regions of the Clare Valley.

Each year Kevin classifies the wines from the previous vintage against exacting standards for each quality grade, crafting blends to the desired style for each label. The Killerman's Run range provides Kevin with the opportunity to blend across Clare's sub-regions to produce wines of outstanding quality and value.
