From William Grant comes Aerstone Sea Cask, a 10 year old single malt hailing from the Ailsa Bay Distillery. Its decade of maturation wasn't spent quite in the sea, though those maritime notes were still soaked up thanks to its ageing process in warehouses by the sea on the Ayrshire coast in Scotland.
Distilled at Girvan, overlooking Ailsa Craig, Ailsa Bay is the only Scotch whisky to undergo a micro-maturation whereby the spirit is first filled to small ex-bourbon casks for an intense rapid maturation, before being transferred to virgin, first-fill and refill American oak casks for several years.

Officially launched in 2006, this 10 year old lies at the heart of the Isle of Arran range and exudes all the honeyed richness we have come to associate with the island distillery.
This 25 year old is truly the jewel in Arran's crown. The whisky has been matured in ex-Sherry and Bourbon Casks and is bottled at 46% Vol without chill filtration or the addition of any colouring. This particular expression has been dubbed The Bodega, and after it was distilled at Lochranza the whisky has been matured for seven years in first-fill sherry hogsheads. It's presented in a rather elegant and handsome bottle. Lots of dried fruit and chocolate over here.
Peated single malt whisky from the isle of Arran, bottled at cask strength. Previous editions have been released in yearly batches, but in 2018, the Arran distillers decided that these whiskies had become so popular that they deserved to be a permanent part of the range! Ideal! This punchy expression is named after the mystical peat bog western side of...
The name for this expression comes from a mysterious peat bog on the western side of Arran. Not only will you find peat at Machrie Moor, but stone circles too - one of which was apparently used by a giant to tether its dog to. Hence the dog on the label.
