Distilled at the Arran distillery at Lochranza in the north of the island, this single malt is matured for seven years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before spending a further two years in quarter casks, holding just 125 litres. These smaller cask allow for more interaction between the whisky and the wood, giving a more intense maturation.
