Darling Cellars Lime Kilns is a blend of 81% Chenin Blanc, 16% Viognier and 3% Chardonnay shows a lot of tropical notes like peaches apricot and citrus fruit like orange peel. This is a seriously complex wine that has a great mid palate with good length and ageing potential.

It’s surely no coincidence that Boekenhoutskloof moved into its swanky new cellar in 2018, as the quality of most of its wines has gone up a notch. Given that 80% of Boekenhoutskloof’s Syrah now hails from Porseleinberg (the remainder is from Goldmine), it’s no surprise that this is such an impressive wine. Fermented with 40% whole bunches, it’s subtle, scented and almost delicate, with filigree tannins, rose petal top notes, some clove and nutmeg spice and a hint of oak. Drink...
This Blancs de Blancs has hints of fresh lime and citrus, complimented by a subtle yeastiness. It shows a great finesse on the finish with a crisp, rich and creamy complexity.

Floral and aromatic, the wine extends to form an impression of pineapple flesh, syrupy green figs, quince. An energetic acidity profile is well balanced and completed by a rich palate of fruity sweetness. The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley enjoys the unique combination of soil and climate that provides the exact balance for the perfect expression of Pinot Noir.
