Situated on chalk rich slopes, this vineyard is situated in one of the `grosses gewachs`, which roughly equates to a grand cru. During winemaking, the wine is left on the lees...

Sekt has a long tradition in Germany. The first sparkling wine houses in the country were already founded at the beginning of the 19th century. Made using the Charmat method, this sparkling wine has fresh lime juice notes combined with white flowers, apple and a lively mousse. Very crisp and refreshing.

Villa Wolf Gewürztraminer is clean, fruity and wonderfully light on its feet. It shows off the aromatic charm of the variety with the deliciously juicy texture and a delicate aroma of spice and fresh roses.
Modern fruity yet dry German from the Pfalz. Villa Wolf Pinot Gris is made in a dry style and has wonderful richness to it. It shows some nice peach and slightly smoky notes. Clean tasting with a delicious creamy finish. Ripe orchard fruit aromas are enhanced by beautiful weight and balance with lovely fresh acidity running all the way through.
It was here in the Pfalz region, back in the 19th century, that Pinot Gris was first identified as an individual variety and vinified separately. The modern-day Villa Wolf Pinot Gris is made in a full-bodied, dry style with fresh, unoaked fruit and a crisp texture.
Villa Wolf Pinot Noir is warm and medium-bodied, with a firm acid structure. Its dark cherry fruit is juicy, ripe and forward, with a spicy mid-palate. Twelve months of barrique aging gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins. This is a very grown-up Pinot Noir for the price, and an excellent wine for everyday dining.
