Sweetness is well balanced by really vibrant acidity. The bouquet exudes powerful orange blossom, honey and citrus aromas. The floral aspect to the bouquet is incredible! The palate is also beautiful, bringing rich peach, tangerine, lychee, pear, lemon and honey. This is a wine of great complexity and yet it’s all harmonious and elegant. The...
Beerenauslese is only produced in classic years when Botrytris Cinerea (noble rot) appears on the grapes. This dehydrates the grapes and produces very small quantities of extremely luscious wines which age beautifully. As this does not appear every year in Germany, the wines are exceedingly rare. 1976 was one of the classic years for...

Situated on chalk rich slopes, this vineyard is situated in one of the `grosses gewachs`, which roughly equates to a grand cru. Low yielding old vines produce a dry opulent wine with silky peach perfumed fruit and excellent acidity. Delicate elderflower flavours with ripe pear lead to a crisp limey palate. During winemaking, the wine is left on the lees...
Leitz's wines are never racked and stay on the lees in the fermentation cask until bottling which makes for a unique and aromatically profound style. It's next to impossible to find this kind of quality and value, but that's Josie's way: earnest hands-on farming, attentive artisanal winemaking and accessibility that gets people drinking and loving...
aromas of orange peel, ripe pears, grapefruit and nectarines, with juicy fruity acidity and grippy structure, dry and well balanced. This wine has a lovely crunchy acidity, paired with mineral, slightly salty notes and the always present fruit challenge the taste buds
Sekt has a long tradition in Germany. The first sparkling wine houses in the country were already founded at the beginning of the 19th century. Made using the Charmat method, this sparkling wine has fresh lime juice notes combined with white flowers, apple and a lively mousse. Very crisp and refreshing.

Villa Wolf Gewürztraminer is clean, fruity and wonderfully light on its feet. It shows off the aromatic charm of the variety with the deliciously juicy texture and a delicate aroma of spice and fresh roses.
Medium bodied, dry style is very food friendly. On the nose there are green apples and apricots with a hint of herbs. The wine is full but dry and elegant on the palate and there is a persistent finish.
It was here in the Pfalz region, back in the 19th century, that Pinot Gris was first identified as an individual variety and vinified separately. The modern-day Villa Wolf Pinot Gris is made in a full-bodied, dry style with fresh, unoaked fruit and a crisp texture.
Villa Wolf Pinot Noir is warm and medium-bodied, with a firm acid structure. Its dark cherry fruit is juicy, ripe and forward, with a spicy mid-palate. Twelve months of barrique aging gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins. This is a very grown-up Pinot Noir for the price, and an excellent wine for everyday dining.
