Set in the middle of the Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Ancre Hill vineyard is blessed with its own unique meso-climate, surrounded by tree topped hills on all sides, with the famous Brecon Beacons to the north. The vineyard is made up of two sites: Town site, of three acres; and Folly View site, which is six acres and the site from which this Chardonnay comes from. The sites are south facing on limestone soils and have comparatively low rainfall. The estate adopted Biodynamic agriculture practices in 2011
