Grapes were sourced from select vineyard sites in Stellenbosch, Paarl-Paardeberg, Robertson and Elgin. The Stellenbosch fruit is grown in decomposed granite and coffeestone soils. The Paarl-Paardeberg vineyards are planted in decomposed dolomite granite soils. Robertson soils are largely sandstone and calcareous clay, while Elgin are Tukulu, a form of decomposed granite.
