This is wine seduction by a full and rich palate that encapsulates the patient sweetness of raisins. The bouquet is delicate, with intense fruity aromas and strong notes of wild rose. The taste is full, gently structured and harmonious, with a lingering aftertaste.

Trappolini was established in the 1960's by Roberto Trappolini's grandfather in Lazio, the region surrounding Rome. Originally Trappolini was producing wine in mass to be sold in bulk before the winery shifted its entire focus towards the production of high quality wines.
And while Trappolini is within Lazio, their wines are still able to be classified under the DOC designation, Orvieto. In fact the winery produces on average about 110,000 bottles a year, most of which are whites and Trappolini dedicates much of that production to their Grechetto vineyards. Roberto finds their land to be best suited for the cultivation of red varietals like Sangiovese and Aleatico.
