Maroon red in the glass, on the nose we get Ripe plum and berry fruit with a hint of spicy oak. On the Palate Plum and berry fruit dominate with a hint of blackcurrant combined with some savoury notes and spicy oak.

Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards were monitored throughout the ripening season to allow a selection of fruit that displayed berry flavour, ripeness and optimum sugar/acid balance. Fermentation at warmer temperatures of 20 - 22°C for five to seven days optimised the extraction of desirable flavour and colour whilst retaining a soft tannin structure.
